Hello, fair followers!
As Miss Mini posted yesterday, while she is sunning it up in pastures new, the Tumblr has been left in my
capablehands. I’m not a frequent poster in these parts so it may take me a few days to get into the swing of it so please bear with me!Anyway, as seen by the above graphic, I’m hoping to do a giveaway in her absence to keep things active in some respect. But before I set down the rules (of which there are few), I wanted to run it by everyone so that it is as beneficial as possible to you guys. In my quest to get all the Monkees Monthly’s, I acquired several duplicates along the way and, rather than sell them on, I thought it would be nice to give them away to our followers. Want I want to know from you guys is in what capacity this would be most appreciated.
For anyone who doesn’t know, Monkees Monthly was the British fan magazine which ran for 32 issues (Feb ‘67-Sept ‘69) and contained interviews, b&w photos, set visits etc. for the show. As the Spectaculars are to us in the UK, I believe the Monthly’s are a little harder to get hold of in the States and they’re not the cheapest to purchase. I have 18 issues (2-19) up for grabs and need a vote on the best method of distribution! The choices are:
- One giveaway for all 18 issues which would run for a month
- Four weekly giveaways of 4/5 magazines (if I use this method, then you will be given a choice of which ones you would like until there is no longer a selection)
Any other suggestions welcome. Giving them away seperately isn’t really an option because, although I am happy to give these away, I don’t want the postage to cause too much of a dent my end!
All the magazines are in good condition (some have the address written in pencil on the covers, as was common in those days) and looking for a new home! So please let me know how you think we should go about this and what would make you happy :)

Hey, while I’m at it, everyday, I’ll tell you one different reason why I love Mike. It’d take my whole life to name all the reasons, so I’ll make a top 30. Lets start with his face. He is honestly, according to my own tastes, the most beautiful man I’ve ever seen. No one before had made such an impression on me. I’m addicted to looking at his perfectly drawn features; eyes, eyebrows, nose, lips, jaw, chin, cheekbones, sideburns, not to forget this luscious, thick, raven black, irresistible head of hair. Everything is so perfect and delicious and causes me a great deal of sexual frustration.
